[x] the rules you learned as a child apply here for OOC times: share, play nice, and do unto others as you'd have others do unto you ^^
[x] while sexual situations might occur in-character, pornography of any kind is strictly prohibited. Any 'mature' posts must be labeled as such.
[x] theft of any kind [image, word, mind] is no tolerated here
[x] there is no character limit, but be responsible. We will ask you to stop joining more if you can't keep up.
[x] there is no word minimum, but be respectful.
[x] 'post coming' posts are not allowed and are deleted.

CHARACTER RULES
[x] Any type of real, fantasy, fictional, made-up, mythical whatever creature is allowed to be played here so long as it is not in any, way, shape or form human, humanoid, sort-of humanish. Centaurs, Mermaids, Elves, Trolls, etc are not allowed.
[x] Character looks and size can be real or non-real. Neon-blue wolves are a-ok here!
[x] You cannot join with powers with small exceptions: Dragons can breathe fire, and anything with wings can fly.

KINGDOMS
[x] Kingdoms are run by a council of four, headed by a 'Head Councilor'. This position is like a King/Queen role.
[x] Any player may be the Head Councilor of a Kingdom provided that they are not already the Head of another Kingdom
[x] If a Head goes inactive for two weeks for any reason a new Head will be elected.
[x] Head Councilor position is decided by a two-thirds vote and must be approved by the majority of Council members.
[x] Mutinies can occur. They require a majority vote to first mutiny, then a two-thirds vote for the new Head.
[x] Council positions are also decided by a majority vote. They do not need the support of the Head Councilor.
[x] There is no 'claiming', but the Head Councilor and the Head of Theft are responsible for blocking steals against their Kingdom. Likewise the Head of War would be challenged for a Kingdom member.
[x] Characters are not required to join Kingdoms at this exact moment, but it is very, very encouraged.
[x] Kingdom Council members will receive the password for the Kingdom board to edit it as they need to (layout, members, etc). The password will change when leadership does.

CHALLENGES & MOCK BATTLES
[x] Any character of adult age may challenge. Any character may mock battle.
[x] you may challenge for coins, breeding rights, and captives(two land members [male, female or independent children])
[x] Challenges unanswered after three days default to challenger, challenges that go inactive after three days default to the last person to post.
[x] Challenges are held in the Battle Grounds
[x] The challenged character has the right of first post, but may decline and allow the challenger first post if desired.
[x] Players may only be involved in two challenges at one time & one character can only be in one challenge at one time.
[x] No matter the result, the challenged item/character cannot be fought over, or stolen for, for three days time.
[x] Battles consist of two posts each, both with two attacks and one full dodge.
[x] The challenger must list their first two attacks before the battle begins for the challenged character to reply to, and likewise the challenged horse must post at the end stating which attack they took and which they avoided.
[x] With judgment, you will also receive your wounds and heal time.
[x] Coin toss challenges are another option on Dreamscape where you may challenge for 1 captive or half a character's coins.
[x] A coin is tossed three times with majority ruling. Challenged character calls heads or tails.
[x] Mock battles have no prizes and the players involved set the rules, number of posts, location, etc. Mock battles are not judged by staff members but are open for review by all players to discuss and give advice. Mock battle review can be done IC, too!

STEALTH
[x] In one steal you may steal one captive OR coins. Not both.
[x] Each character may post two steals per week.
[x] All steals must be explained in a reveal and declared valid by staff. Caught steals do not need explaining.
[x] Stealers must tell the guessers if their block is correct or incorrect in a timeless fashion.
[x] Only the Head Council, Head of Theft and up to two appointed steal-blockers may block for a Kingdom.
[x] Each Kingdom is allowed a total of 5 Blocks per steal, but they may be divided by different members. (ie: the Head may block two, the Head of Theft may block three)
[x] Safety blocks are strongly discouraged. Players found to be excessively safety blocking will only be allowed 1 block per steal for 1 Dreamscape Season (two weeks)
[x] if all blocks are used and are incorrect, the stealer may reveal early.
[x] A stolen character may not be stolen for again, or challenged over, for three days.
[x] Steals can be riddle or statement. Riddles last three days, statements last two.
[x] Riddle steals may not include ASCII, Hex codes and languages. Poems, letter direction, black text, number patterns, etc, are allowed.

BONDING
[x] Bonding is a random event that happens between two characters and is essentially them finding their soul mate. Bonding creates a special mental bond between the pair which allows them to speak telepathically with one another. It can happen anytime, anywhere, and with anyone - different species and same sex included! The thing is, you don't get to pick your bond.
[x] Players may request a Bond for their character at any time, or one could happen randomly.
[x] Bonds cannot be undone once made, and typically only happen once in a lifetime.
[x] Bonding typically has a 75% of being someone your character has interacted with and a 25% chance of being random.

BREEDING & BIRTHING
[x] Due to too many different species, breeding is currently open year round.
[x] After each player posts their stats, a Mod will roll baby stats for you, and give you a 'due date' set for three weeks away.
[x] There must be a player for the baby before breeding
[x] You must play the baby as a child for at least the rest of the current year, then you may age them as quickly as you want until they are adults.
[x] Force-breeding can occur, and will result in a coin-toss to see if the breeding was successful.
[x] the player of the male must play the resulting child unless otherwise stated by the female's player.
[x] the number of offspring will depend on your species
[x] Tokens are available for purchase for same-sex and/or different-species mating.
