The Guilds & Ranks explained
The Guilds
*On Dreamscape there are four groups known as 'Guilds'. They are categories of ranks that characters can join and strive to level up in, for basic game play fun and character development! Having goals for your character gives them something to do and work toward and keeps things interesting for you, the player!
*The four guilds are: Quest, Theft, War and Peace.
*Each guild has 13 Ranks to achieve, all of which are represented by a stone worn around the neck. Characters are welcome to focus on one guild at a time, or try multiple guilds at once - however you wish! All characters that reach the top rank will be remembered in Dreamscape's Hall of Fame.
The Ranks
*When a character first enters the guild their rank is Quartz, and their stone is clear. As they progress through the ranks their stone will change colors and gradually darken until they reach the final rank: Obsidian. The stone darkens to represent the magic within the stone that is becoming thicker and denser, which shows more power that the character holds.
*In order, the ranks are: Quartz, Pearl, Citrine, Topaz, Garnet, Moonstone, Amethyst, Opal, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Pyrite, Hematite & Obsidian.
*To join the Guilds, post in updates. You'll also need to post there to update your character's rank if/when they achieve a higher ranking, or if you want to enter them into multiple Guilds. The ranks can be found in the Character Database.
