Gods & Questing Information

Overview
* On Dreamscape there are certain "Powers That Be" referred to as Gods that in a vague way control Dreamscape and control bringing souls here and transforming them. Unlike on other RPGs, for the most part the Gods do not interfere with the daily lives of characters and remain in Caeles, the Temple, and are only played in regards to Quests. Quests are missions/tasks that characters may request in order to earn coins, magic, tokens, and now ranks in the Quest Guild.

The Gods
* There are five major gods, eight 'Titans' (minor deities) and three spirits.

The five Gods are:
* Gaia, Goddess of Earth
* Aether, God of Air
* Thalassa, Goddess of Sea
* Vulcan, God of Fire
* Tartarus, God of the Underworld

The eight Titans are:
* Iapetus - Mortality
* Coesus - heaven, intellect & constellations
* Mnemosyne - memory & remembrance
* Rhea - fertility
* Theia - sight & sky
* Asteria - the nocturnal and falling stars
* Perses - destruction
* Selene - the moon

The Three Spirits are:
* Achos - trouble/distress
* Ania - ache/suffering
* Lupe - pain/sorrow


Questing
* At any time, any character may post in Caeles for a Quest. You should have a goal set when you begin the Quest - either to gain magic, a potion, a spell, item, token or just coins! Try to request a specific God/Titan/Spirit when Questing that matches up to your goal if possible. Example: if you're Questing for a fire spell, post for Vulcan. If you're Questing for a mutation pear, post for Rhea. If you just want coins, it doesn't really matter who you post for, so either pick one at random, or staff will just decide for you! :D

* When Questing, post a short IC message in Caeles with your character approaching the Temple and seeking. Staff members will then post a God, Titan or Spirit to your character in a short IC message and with some sort of task for your character to complete. Quest Tasks can range from identification, facing your inner demons, creating stories, logic, fetching items, and more! You will only have three days to preform each section of Quest unless otherwise stated, or unless you gain rank in the Guild and earn extra time.

* Characters do not need to be in the Quest Guild in order to Quest! Quest Guild members may also Quest for other items as well, and not just to gain higher ranks. Quests that are done not intending for higher rank in the Guild may or may not qualify for higher rank anyway, it'll depend on the nature of the Quest.
